Grenache is one of the most planted red wine grapes in the universe! When the winds are a blowin’, Grenache can persevere and thrive, making it a key grape in Mediterranean climates. Because of Grenache’s high fruit-low tannin wines, it tends to be blended with other grapes (think Syrah and Mourvedre) to achieve a super yum wine. It is the dominant grape in most Southern Rhone wines and has a large amount of plantings in Australia, California, and Spain. It can be super distinctive when consumed on its own, the grape is also used in the production of many Rose wines across the globe.
Ain't nothin finer than the sweet, structured fabulousness that grips to your mouth, tugs on your senses and makes you beg for more every day of the week and twice on sundays.
