2007 Blackford Estate Eden Valley Riesling
(2008-02-14 22:26:19 UTC)2004 Springfield Estate Firefinch Ripe Red
(2008-01-13 18:07:34 UTC)As ripe and juicy as the ripest plums, berries and currants. Fruit driven nose is upfront and pronounced. Tannins firm but inviting. A food wine.
2005 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir
(2008-01-13 18:03:54 UTC)I tried this over Christmas at the cellar door, nothing too special but nice enough.

2006 Peeling Reel Chardonnay Viognier
(2007-05-16 16:38:53 UTC)A strange combination...more a Chardonnay than a Viognier. Wouldn't rush back to buy it, but interesting none the less.
2001 Bushy Road Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz
(2007-01-29 06:34:19 UTC)Ripe blackcurrants on the nose with the typical smokey character you get from Cabernet.
On the palate it's smooth and rich with intense juicy dark fruits moving through to slightly cooked red fruits on the finish.
It has a medium body with a good length on the finish. Tannins are so beautifully balanced they appear to be none existent but the shiraz, for once, is over powered by the cabernet and so there is none of the slight peppery character one would expect from an Aussie shiraz blend.
Still a lovely blended wine.
2003 L de Lyeth Merlot Sonoma County
(2007-01-09 21:53:35 UTC)2004 Levin Sancerre
(2007-01-06 04:19:40 UTC)Great value, smooth and could almost come from Marlborough NZ!
2004 Chapel Down Bacchus
(2007-01-06 04:10:06 UTC)Zingy, fresh, fruity Sauvignon Blanc style wines. Gooseberries, green apples, grassy aromas or more subtle, tropical passion fruit flavours.
