I like golfing, racing my car around the North East, and of course Wine. I tend to like big fruit and gravitate toward Bordeaux/Claret/Cabs and Italian reds like Chianti Classico Reserva, Ripassa and Barolo; although I'm gaining an appreciation for Burgundy as well. For whites I like Viognier, Reisling Kabinett, Pinot Grigio and old world Chardonnay.

Location: Merrimack, NH, United States

Hey Alan, I haven't been drinking all that many cabs lately. One of my best friends is on a pinot kick.....so she and I have had a bunch of that. Not really my favorite....but I love wine, period! How are things with you? Taste anything amazing lately?

depends on the day...and the food! Love Sauv Blanc's (especially from NZ), Pinot Noir (from cool climates), dry Rieslings, and a big in-your-face Cab Sauv from CA now and then!

I see you caught onto Barolo before I did ! I just had my first bottle of Nebbiolo, I paired it with pasta and red sauce with olives. I was pleasantly surprised that it stayed fresh for three days... Details here: http://blog.myspace.com/gamay Kathleen Albany, NY

I'll have to add the KC Merlot to my list. I've recently tried the KC Sauv Blanc & Chard - and enjoyed both. Right now I'm digging the St. Supery Virtu. It's lovely & full yet still light enough to enjoy here in St. Louis on a hot, steamy night. Cheers!

Hey Alan. You have a nice little diverse cellar there. Can't wait to read more of your reviews. Take care.
