2002 SASSICAIA 95/100

The Sassicaia hallmarks shine through even in this difficult vintage: elegant, slightly closed on the nose, silky-smooth entry on the palate and compact tannins in the finish. Less berry fruit, more savoury mineral character but still lovely balance and good prospects for midterm.
