ya gotta like the name!

I was at Landmark and saw the name Kastania, so I had to taste it... (I pass Kastaina Vineyards on 101 in Petaluma daily)...I thought it had a very nice nose and mellow finish.
I would buy it again.

note: Kastania has opened a tasting room of their own... stop by and say hi to Hoot and Linda

For the price, this is good stuff!
It's become my everyday wine... ya know... Tuesday night with a cheeseburger wine...

A fun tasting room to visit. It is slightly more touristy than I generally like, buy not nearly as bad as Napa.....
directly across the street is a small building where 4 or 5 small wineries share a tasting room... Tommy Smothers occasionally pours his wine there!

They now sell their wines under the "Larson Family" lable.
