Live on lake & river in mid-Nebraska. Love the small town/rural life. Travel the U.S. extensively. Wife of 21+ years and 3 children. Started Banker's Compliance Consulting in 1993. Very successful consulting firm. I primarily teach and speak on banking laws/regulations. New to wine. Love to not only taste & smell, but learning about the various types, grapes, regions, etc. I'm starting to hunger for a trip to wine regions in the U.S. and would love to go to Europe to see the Old World wineries.

Had with hamburger. May be the best $20 wine I’ve ever had. Here's what Gary V had to say:
COLOR-dark; NOSE-really spicy; chili powder; inky component; kind of meaty; TASTE-Holy Crap; this is an absolute classic Valpolicella; better than most Amarone's; explosive, rich, polished; gorgeous Valpolicella; will last 3-5 years; chocolate covered Raisinettes component; spectacular, delicious, explosive; tremendous effort; Note: this wine received a 3 Glass Rating (2008 Tres Bicchieri Winner) from Gambero Rosso, THE most respected Italian wine critic (3 glasses is his highest rating that he awards to $100-$200 Italian wines); GR-3 Glass; GV-93+http://tv.winelibrary.com/2007/12/06/valpolicella-wines-from-italy-episode-365/
