2005 Santa Rita Medalla Real 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
(2008-10-17 02:25:44 UTC)2005 Coppola Pinot Grigio
(2007-01-06 06:37:21 UTC)A nice everyday wine... Nothing great, but nothing bad. Fairly light.
2005 Beringer Stone Cellars Pinot Grigio
(2006-10-19 09:39:59 UTC)For the price, this is a monster wine. The crisp clean taste is very refreshing. A sip of this heavenly libation will put a smile on your face. This wine is definitely fruity in flavour, but is really nice and light. A steal!
2005 Larch Hills Ortega
(2006-10-09 04:01:24 UTC)This is a pretty easy wine to drink, though I may classify it as a 'beginner's' wine, as it reminds me very much of the flavour of a very sweet blush wine. That said, if your ready for a 'candied' wine, it's a refreshing glass.
I would be hesitant to pair this with an actual dish, it might be nice as an apéritif, or as a dessert wine.
2001 Masi Amarone Costasera
(2006-09-25 13:07:19 UTC)Fantastic vino, great legs! Quite full bodied, a full but not overpowering tannon base, with rich berry flavour. A delight!
1998 Masi Brolo di Campofiorin
(2006-09-25 12:03:24 UTC)I sampled the 2001 vintage of this wine... Very full flavored and rich, this wine is a very palatable wine. Despite it's full flavour this wine is quite light in the tannon department. I wouldn't rush out and buy a bottle, but wouldn't be dissapointed if I found it on the table.
2002 Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz
(2006-09-02 09:36:16 UTC)Fairely full bodied and very slightly smoky, this full flavored cab/shiraz has hints of berry with a nice round vibrant flavor. A solid wine for sure.
2003 Nottage Hill Shiraz
(2006-08-27 19:18:58 UTC)Great 'everyday' shiraz, goes down smooth, easy on the tannon. Moderately full bodied with a slightly oaky flavour. The finish is fairly light.
2003 Livermore Valley Sauvignon Blanc
(2006-08-26 18:32:32 UTC)Pretty light and smooth, but nothing spectacular. Slighty acidic flavour that hangs in your mouth.
2004 North Coast Sauvingnon Blanc
(2006-08-26 18:20:29 UTC)Very crisp with a medium body. Fruity flavours with a very subtle oakiness and acidity. Great as a go-to white wine.
