black pepper, mulberries (although I could _barely_ taste them) and a bit of plum. Not the typical "sucker" Shiraz. Tastes like the varietal should, however probably needs another year or two in the bottle.

Lots of great black currant and cherry fruit flavors at front palette with vanilla and wood/tannins at the finish. Allow it ample time to breathe and it wont disappoint. will only get better with cellaring. Would love to try this in another year or two.

For the price, this is an excellent 2003 Merlot Bourdeaux. Nose reminds me of field or open farmland. Velvety on the palette and has a hint of chocolate.

has a berry nose;
very very dark color - black with purple tones throughout;
black olive, oak taste with a long finish. A little too acidic at first but with subsequent sips tannins kick in to balance it out.
