2005 2005 Smoking Loon Cabernet Sauvignon
(2008-01-08 23:55:45 UTC)2005 Francis Coppola Black Label Claret 2005
(2008-01-08 23:55:07 UTC)2003 Robert Mondavi Pinot Noir
(2006-05-19 14:29:09 UTC)This wine is indeed remarkably good. My wife did not like red wines all that much until she tried this one.
I've always said that for those of you how think red wine is not for you, try to find one that you really love, even if you do have to pay a bit more, once you find your match it becomes way easy to jump around and find a variety of other red wines that suit your personal taste.
This wine did exactly that to my wife.
2002 Chateau Pavie Premier Grand Cru
(2006-05-18 13:06:03 UTC)Opaque ruby/purple color in addition to gorgeous aromas of crushed minerals, smoke, licorice, multi-layered with stunning texture and overall balance. The tannin level suggests 3-4 years cellaring; it should age gracefully for 25 years.
I had the pleasure to try from the 3 Litter bottle.

2002 Ch. Ste. Michelle - Canoe Ridge Estate
(2006-05-18 13:01:36 UTC)Smooth and velvety, light aromas and oak taste. Soft and mildly complex. Coffee aromas and perhaps a bit oh honey.
2003 Blackstone Cabernet Sauvignon
(2006-05-18 10:43:51 UTC)Great wine, strong flavor of a typical Cabernet, optimal food paring can be achieve by pairing it with strong flavored foods such as red pasta. Oak flavors and spicy black berry.
2003 Sonoma Creek Pinot Noir
(2006-05-18 10:36:17 UTC)Sonoma County, neighbor to Napa and was founded by Spanish Franciscan fathers. The marine influence creates a long, cool growing season. Pinot Noir takes great advantage of the cool climate which results in such a crisp finish.
Great Pinot Noir for those coming from a white-wine only type of palette. Soft and somewhat f rutty, this wine will stand up to great pairing from chicken to lamb and vegetables. Last time I had it with veal marsala and it make it made the veal all that much better.
2003 Echelon Pinot Noir
(2006-05-18 09:55:07 UTC)A fleshy-textured, mild-mannered Pinot that offers pleasant cherry, plum and herb flavors up front and a moderate finish.
Great wine for the price.
2002 Stags Leap Winery Merlot
(2006-05-18 09:37:41 UTC)This incredible wine is one of the best in its class. Full bodied and delicious, this Merlot is a great match for strong flavors such as veal, lamb and pork. Not for the weak of heart as it is a very complex wine not be taken lightly.
At a reasonably expensive price tag, it's not your everyday whine but honestly these are the times you wished special occasions happened more often.
From a valley within a valley, lies a 240-acre century old winery just few miles from Napa Valley, they produce amazing wines worth recognition.
Go ahead give it a try, you will not regret.
