I fell in love with wine while stationed in Italy with the Navy. I returned home in 1999, finished school at SIUC in 2003 and began to look for work in finance. Sales! That's it, and I wanted to be an analyst. So, utilizing my contacts in Italy, two other college friends and I started an import firm in late 2003. We began with a Sicilian friend's espresso and quickly moved into wine, which was our aim. Now it's 90% wine, and it's beginning to work. I love wine, cooking, travel, the beach, a great day outdoors, golf, tennis, sailing (my goal), family, Seinfeld, Curb, Arrested Development, and much more. Wine is a huge part of my life, and I'm lucky to be able to combine that passion with work, which makes life extremely rewarding. I'm lucky.
