2005 Bergström Cumberland Reserve
(2007-08-04 18:04:05 UTC)Decanted this wine for about thirty minutes and it was at cellar temperature when I did so. This wine is just a lovely expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir. It has a very lean amount of smoke to the nose and bursts with cedar and floral notes on the front with...Read More at Devinely.com

This wine was totally amazing! I was able to get one of these by total luck! The store that I worked for asked me to put a six pack of this wine on sale at Wine Commune, and I did and they sold and fed ex dropped the case! A sad waste though it was to lose the bottles that were broken it was totally in my favor because my boss then gave me the unbroken bottles to keep! My boyfriend and I suspected that this one was effected by the heat in shipping because the capsule was slightly pushed out a bit but after cutting it off we saw that it wasn’t pushed at all just that some air had gotten trapped in between the capsule and the cork.Anyway! We decanted it for about 45 minutes and chilled it for a while before drinking it. It started out kind of light with delicate oak, anise, bright cherry. It evolved later into a bigger, bolder, smoky, chewy, delicious combination of leather, dark berries, violets and chocolate that lingered forever!
2004 Paraiso Chardonnay
(2007-05-23 19:39:41 UTC)Candined almond nose with a very full bodied mouthfeel also full of almonds and coconut in the mid palate. Sort of like almond cotton candy.
2005 Tanget Sauvignon Blanc
(2007-05-23 19:36:59 UTC)Very round mouthfeel with nice crisp touches of green apples that get creamier as this wine comes closer to room temperature . A very nice summer time wine.
2006 Domaine de la Camarette "Equipoise"
(2007-05-23 19:32:30 UTC)Creamy melon on nose with a sweet and light buttery appeal and great acidity! Equipoise means balance in greek and this wine is exactly that, pure balance between fruit, cream and acidity. It coats the palate nicely and finishes with a supple and elegant lean fruit.
2003 Domaine du Chateau d'Eau Pinot Noir Vin de Pays d'Oc
(2007-05-23 19:23:31 UTC)Smells like dill, I guess that is the wood they used and I am not sure what type it was but I always get dill from American oak. Very dry tannins with a bitter sandalwood finish.
2005 Sincerity Sauvignon Blanc
(2007-04-27 22:30:23 UTC)Good lime cream on front with a touch of barnyard on the nose with good melon and a touch of roundness and good acidity with a clean limestone finish.
2005 Carchelo Monastrell
(2007-04-21 21:45:39 UTC)Had a strange sort of funkiness on the nose mixed with currant.Sensual anise on the front with a dry new leather acidity that attacks the front of the tongue. The finish is round with a cherry jollyrancher end. Great for the price.
