My love affair with wine can be traced back to my childhood when I would steal sips from my Mom's glass when she looked away. Now, I'm 23 years old and a hardcore oenophile.

This wine is 60 Grenache, 30 Syrah, and 10 Carignan. Fruity on the nose, berries like a strawberry danish kinda smell. It's definitely got a little burn to it on the finish, owing to the 15% alcohol content.

I thought this had a very floral nose, though it did dissipate after breathing. Very smooth wine with a bit of tartness on the finish that is reminiscent of under ripened berries. Long finish. I wouldn't call it a "typical pinot".
