2003 Columbia Crest Two Vines Sauvignon Blanc

Grapefruit, melon, watermelon, not to acidic. Don't think I would write home about this wine, but its in the drinkable range. Suitable for salads, fruit salads, or fortification prior to dinner with the in-laws.

2003 Chateau Ste Michelle Sauvignon Blanc

This is what I love about Sauvignon Blancs. They are so easy to grow, the wineries practically give this stuff away, and the wines are always great. The Chateau Ste Michelle doesn't disappoint. Has an watermelon and lemon taste to it. An interesting twist for those used to the Napa grapefruit style of Sauvignon Blancs. There is something else to this wine that I can't quite identify, it might be oak, hard to say. Overall, a good value wine, go off and buy yourself a case or two.

2004 Sebastiani Chardonnay

Granted I'm not the biggest chardonnay fan, but this wine wasn't bad. A bit oaky for my taste, but at least it didn't remind me of a lumber yard. Maybe more of a woodchipper chipping wood from accross the street. But I digress. I would of rated it higher, but nothing stood about this wine. It did have a good floral aroma, and well in the drinkable range. Probable would go well with either a mild fish dish, or better yet sandwiches on fresh bread!

2005 Sebastiani Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Sebastiani did another good job with their Pinot this year. Plenty for fruit forward taste, yet there is a sophistication to the wine. Wine may need 6months to a year for additional aging though, still getting a sharpness to it that should go away with age.

2006 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau

The other reviewers who pointed out the bannana are right ... odd but true. Wine has good fruit aromas and flavor. Not all that sophisticated (what do you want for a wine that was still grapes two months ago), but worth the buy.

2005 Menage a Trois Red Table Wine

This is the second time I've had this wine, a little sweater than I remember. Still great for the price. Good strawberry and raspberry fruit aromas. Also get a woodsy / oakly aroma with it.

2004 Sharpshooter Chardonnay

Well into the drinkable range. Aroma contains apple and pear, with a slight floral aroma. Tasting the wine you get some oak. Although nothing jumps out at you with this wine, ther aren't any flaws either. For the price, its worth the buy.

1999 Moss Creek Zinfandel

An outstanding wine. Flavors are intense. Smell pepper and licoorice for spices, strabbery jam, cherry, raisins, and some apple for fruit. Taste is bold, perhaps a bit heavy on the dark fruit. Lots of tannins, will go great with any heavy types of meat (steak, duck, goose).

2002 Columbia Crest Two Vines Cabernet Sauvignon

A well balanced wine. Very good for the price. Very typical of a cab. Dark fruits with a touch of tobacco.

Very heavy on the fruit, too much so. Went better with food than by itself. Generally unsophisticated.
