Rather bright, and avoids the oily texture that plagues many pinot noirs. Medium finish.

Really a superb value for the price, one of the best <$20 I've ever had. A little off-balance but fresh and with a long finish. Recommended.

Very brambly and spicy, but without my preferred offsetting sweetness. Nice, but not the best Joel Gott vintage I've had.

Very nice, better than the Masi Campofiorino. Bright but subdued fruit, long finish. Would buy again.

Thin and over-oaked, but nice structure. Much better Cal Chards to be found at this price point. Do not recommend.

Like a lot of cheap Aussie Shiraz, totally over-tannined and out of balance. Might improve in a year or two, but probably not. Much better low-end Aussie Shirazes to be found, do not recommend.
