Within 2 weeks of having turned 21, I got a job at a wine boutique, with the intention of learning wine, so that I could have something to relate on with my older love interest at the time. The love for her faded, but the love for wine stuck with me... Eventually, after completing a degree in philosophy at UNLV in Las Vegas, I moved to Paso Robles to work as a harvest intern. Having just completed my first harvest in 2007, I'm now working at the same winery, in their tasting room, and hoping to have a blast. I'm a bit of a cork-dork, and love to crack open pricey bottles at the wrong times, because fuck it - I love good wine, and if it's with good friends and you remember the night and the bottles ride on your senses, then hey - mission accomplished.
