Bitter and nose-curdling. Better after a night in the refrigerator, but still unbalanced and unpleasant. Not recommended.

Way too young to drink (Oct. 2007). Nearly overwhelming tannins, but not without the appeal of the scent of dry plums and blueberries. Promising structure.

Interestingly enough, lacks balance. Too much alcohol makes the wine a bit too bitter! Anise dominates the flavors. Lacks the smoothness of the best grenaches. Might be too young, but the tannins didn’t seem structured enough to sustain significant aging.
