2003 Tenuto di Arceno Arcanum I
(2009-10-01 03:05:53 UTC)Cherry Cola, manure, mushroom, violets, clove and raspberry on the nose with a cool refreshing mouth feel. Nicely balanced with fine tannins.
Jason - How long have you been at Veritas? How is Tai doing? I haven't been back in over 6 months due to some service issues I was having there, but I am hoping you have worked them out.
I've been there since we opened. I might be able to recognize you if you had a picture. What kind of service issues were you having? Or if you like you can write a review using http://www.opentable.com/rest_profile.aspx?rid=25579
Sorry, but I didn't recognize you in the picture. It's Elias Papadatos. How are things at the restaurant?
Oh Hi Elias. I was just thinking the other day that I hadn't seen you in a while. We're all doing great! This summer was busy for us. Tai is trying to be more of a presence in the front of house and we just had a lot of new servers join the team. Hope to see you soon.
2004 Chateau Chasse-Spleen
(2009-09-22 00:19:47 UTC)Nice nose of violets, tar and blackberries. Flavors of red currents, pomegranate, damp earth and tar in the mouth. Smooth and earthy with a good balance of fruit, tannin and acidity.
Awesome reviews, Jason! Thanks so much for being an active Cork'd member, and let us know if we can do anything to help you with the site.
NV Andre Clouet Silver Nature Bouzy
(2009-09-20 21:38:48 UTC)Super fine bubbles with flavors of stone, white peach, lemon and green apple on the palate. Bone dry and beautiful!
2004 Dom. Faiveley Cote de Beaune Village
(2009-09-20 15:28:44 UTC)Mostly cherry and cranberry flavors dominate. A simple fruity core with a dry finish.
2004 Labouré-Roi Pommard
(2009-09-19 22:07:29 UTC)Medium body with notes of cherry, clove, raspberry and anise. Opens really nice and has a pleasant perfumed nose. 13% Alcohol
John Caldwell is a brilliant man. His passion is evident with every bottle at every level. The wines are strong, accessible and full of charm. My first bottle was 03 Flame Jumper. Big fan ever since.
