2001 Lake Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon
(2007-03-23 03:10:00 UTC)2004 Marchesi di Barolo Barbera d'Alba "Ruvei"
(2007-02-16 04:55:53 UTC)Deep read, medium-bodied, high acidity, tart & spicy. Hints of cherries, woodland berries and vanilla.
Pairs well with seafood, meat entrées, and pastas dishes.
2004 Robert Hall Cabernet Sauvignon
(2007-01-23 06:49:40 UTC)Rich & fruity ripeness followed by velvety tannins.
2005 Gnarly Head Old Vine Lodi Zinfandel
(2007-01-21 08:13:45 UTC)2003 Chateau Clerc Milon
(2007-01-18 04:18:52 UTC)The dense ruby/purple-colored 2003 is fresh and crisp. This full-bodied, powerful, rich, backward, dense, tannic effort reveals notes of Chinese black tea, creme de cassis, licorice, and melted chocolate. Give it 4-5 years of cellaring, and drink it over the next two decades.
2003 Chateau Suduiraut
(2007-01-18 04:14:47 UTC)A simply gorgeous nose. Honey, acacia and orange character, and on the palate it is full and has impressive depth. Really ripe and opulently textured. Lovely substance here, fresh acidity, and stunningly precise, persistent flavors.
2001 Ferrari-Carano Sienna
(2006-11-21 08:07:58 UTC)Siena is in my top 3 of wines < 20$. The blend of Sangiovese, Malbec, Petit Verdot
and Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French Oak creates a perfect Italian/Cali harmony of fruit & spice w/ soft tanins and a solid body.
2003 Rancho Zabaco Dancing Bull Zinfandel
(2006-08-21 17:38:01 UTC)One of our favorite inexpensive zins.
2002 Ferrari Carano Cabernet Sauvignon
(2006-05-19 10:41:42 UTC)Black cherry, plum, black currant and a tiny vanilla note. Decante for 10 minutes prior to consumption if you enjoy getting punched in the face properly by a big booty red.
