The dense ruby/purple-colored 2003 is fresh and crisp. This full-bodied, powerful, rich, backward, dense, tannic effort reveals notes of Chinese black tea, creme de cassis, licorice, and melted chocolate. Give it 4-5 years of cellaring, and drink it over the next two decades.

A simply gorgeous nose. Honey, acacia and orange character, and on the palate it is full and has impressive depth. Really ripe and opulently textured. Lovely substance here, fresh acidity, and stunningly precise, persistent flavors.

Siena is in my top 3 of wines < 20$. The blend of Sangiovese, Malbec, Petit Verdot
and Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French Oak creates a perfect Italian/Cali harmony of fruit & spice w/ soft tanins and a solid body.
