2006 Esperto Pinot Grigio

Color: Clear, pale yellow with very, very faint green
Nose: Apples, Pears, peaches, Lemons
Taste: Low acidity, fairly dry, Apples
Aftertaste: Minerals and metallic
Overall: A very standard PG. Flavor is a lot deeper than most domestic PGs I've had at the same price, probably from the minerals. Tasted with creamy pasta sauce with chicken and green vegetables. Definitely keep whatever food you eat light with this one or you'll overpower the very subtle earthy undertones.

Bright ruby color, plum and hint of cherry on the nose. Rich tannin balances sweetness.

Not offensive, but not remarkable. My partner's mother bought it for the grandparents to keep them buzzed over Thanksgiving. I wouldn't serve this to someone I wanted around, however.
