My favorite wine of the month. Not overly powerful, and could be knocked over by a strong beef meal. It counters this with a very drinkable demeanor. Only a very slight finish, which might appeal to first time red drinkers.

I'm picking this one up next time I'm out!

Wow, this used to be my favorite wine, but has fallen away in the face of French wine. Overly strong and spicy, it paired well with our Italian Sausage pasta. Quite sharp compared to other regions with similar ages. This was after decanting too! Eileen thought it was too bitter.

Eileen would prefer to have this wine chilled. Notes of cherry and plums. Not a knockover wine, with a perfect amount of finish. Very very drinkable.
