Bio

My enabler, Lee, and I are enthusiastic wine drinkers. We're always interested in trying something new, and like to run the gamut of price ranges and grape varieties. We just returned from our second trip to the North Fork of Long Island and are big fans of North Fork wineries. I scrapbook my wine labels and put shards of smashed wine bottle glass into a rock tumbler, so I can create my own sea-glass to make coasters - on which I often have a glass of Riesling waiting for me. No kidding.

Chateau St. Michelle is a great wine to get non-wine drinkers started on. It's really refreshing - and it's affordable, too.

I like to have an unopened bottle or two on hand in case we have unexpected guests late night - it's good enough to share but not so special as to require hording it for ourselves.
