I live in Quincy, IL. 32 yrs old. Married my high school sweetheart and have two boys. I work for my Dad at an electrical construction co. Started to enjoy wine my senior year at Bradley and it has become a hobby for me the past three years. If you are wondering why an Illinois guy has a Nebraska Cornhuskers emblem that’s were my parents are from and that’s how I was raised to love Nebraska football.

Had this with hamburgers on 11/8/07. Nose was dark fruit and earth/dirt. Taste was much better than expected it has a hollow mid palette and short finish but it is very smooth. The fruit shows very well in this light body Rioja. My wife and I had the same reaction with our first taste “I can’t believe this is $8.00”

Had it at a local Italian Resteraunt. First Amarone I have had. It was not to my liking. The flavor profile was as if it was a liquor.

Awesome juice! Smooth as can be but watch out it is 16% alc.
