Black currant, Black Pepper, Dark Cherry flavors dominate. Liquorice and Oak on the nose. A very very nice finish. It has complexity and yet so easy to drink. Highly recommended!

2005 Belle Vallee Cellars Pinot Noir

Earthy nose but not very aromatic. Does remind one of a light Burgundy. Light middleweight body. Very smooth with a nice dry finish. Food pairing would be best and not by itself. A good pinot but if you demand more I would try something else.

2002 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Big Full Bodied Carbernet. Silver Oak is one of the finest. Dark Fruit, Black Plum, Bone dry, nice tannins. Let this one open and breath for at least an hour - it will go from very good to excellent.

2005 The Winner's Tank 2005 Shiraz

Heavy tannins, well balanced fruit aspect, light spice component. I was expecting it to be a bit jammier for an Aussie Shiraz. Still fun and very drinkable. Good price. Worth trying.

2003 Allende Rioja

Very nice Rioja. Dark Fruit, Black cherry & tobacco come to mind. Will be seeking out more from Allende for sure.

2003 Schiavenza Dolcetto d'Alba

Bottle opened for about an hour before drinking. A slighty fizzy cherry cola aspect of this wine started to become very apparent. Not in nice way. Truly disappointed. I cant say this wine was corked but this was a very strange experience.

2005 Sipino Pinot Noir

I had some expections going into this wine. Very light in its flavor and lacking a bit in the finish. I let breath for a couple of hours and not much change in depth overall. For this price point - Have to pass.

2004 Las Rocas Garnacha

Definitely in agreement with a few of the other reviews. Open and let this breath for an hour - Really does open up. Cherry, Tobacco, Well balanced tannins. Easy wine to pop when you have friends over and looking for something easy to drink.

Intense and Deep red wine. Dark Currant and Cocoa flavors dominate as well as on the nose. Very thick mouth feel and decent finish. Easy quaffing for Old World fans.

2005 Rosenblum 2005 Petite Sirah Heritage Clones

I've repeatedly had this wine over the course of 2007 and thought I should sound off about it while I was inspired.

A bouquet of cocoa, blackberry, black pepper, coconut and spice. Dense and full-bodied flavor - Pepper, Cherry, Blackberry, etc. Loads of fruit. Alcohol and Oak factor are well integrated.

Full Throttled is right. If you want something big - this is perfect.
