2003 J.Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon
(2007-05-20 05:41:57 UTC)Smooth beginning, with dry fruit and a peppery finish.
2002 St. Francis Red
(2007-05-20 05:39:20 UTC)Too forward with a dry oak taste, but flattens and unfurls fruit in the body. Finishes remarkably smooth.
2005 Pascual Toso Malbec 2005
(2007-04-13 00:37:39 UTC)Dark fruit body, purple and thick. Oak shows, through, then some nice light flowery stuff, ending with a peppery note that turns bitter at the edges. Nice feeling in the mouth afterwards.
2004 Envero Apaltagua Apalta Vineyard
(2007-01-21 15:35:34 UTC)Blend of Carmenere and Cabernet Saviogon gives structure to a soft, fruity wine. Crowd favorite.
2004 Santa Ema Carmenére Barrel Select
(2007-01-21 11:40:09 UTC)Great wine. Spicy finish, preceded by a full body of oak and black berry. Pleasing first taste.
2004 Casillero del Diablo Carmenere
(2007-01-21 11:34:43 UTC)Unfolds with more complexity than it's cheaper brother, Frontera. Lacks some structure, but still a pleasing finish.
2005 Concha y Toro Frontera Carménére Valle Central
(2007-01-21 11:32:06 UTC)Bright, bit forward, simple wine with a rough but not unpleasant finish.
2005 Joel Gott Syrah
(2007-01-19 14:20:50 UTC)Syrah is a comfort wine. This hits the spot with a plush blanket of understated but spiced berry flavors, lingering into oak and fading stately.
2004 Robert Mondavi Zinfandel
(2006-12-28 06:07:26 UTC)Much better than expected. Full of soft spice. Accommodating structure. Nicely accented with oak notes. The finish fades slowly.
2002 Marques de Caceres Rioja Crianza Red
(2006-10-28 08:39:34 UTC)Plush finish. Great taste.
