There are so many really good white wines from Oregon and Washington for under $10! I love it! Anyone have recommendations for really good reds for under ... say, $13?

Don't forget to vote for the most crunchy candidates today. If the person looks like a moss covered old-growth conifer, he's your man. And don't forget Measure U, the right to self-euthanize without a parent or gaurdian's permission. You Oregonian's are FREAKS!!! That's why our (California's) Measure U is to put up a border fence to keep out your homeless teenagers from coming back here when they run out of ludes, bennies, and homespun toot.

CNdP's are great. I haven't tried any CavesDP yet. Rhone wines, unlike most Europe wines can use a plethora of grapes. i.e. Burgundy=Pinot Noir, and Bordeaux= Cab with some CabFranc or Merlot, but that's it. 20 something grapes can be used in Rhone wines. Most CNdP's that I like are syrah heavy blends. See my message about Rioja. Same thing applies here where they blend alot more than Californian wines to smooth out the edges. And as usual this is a great area to ask Jay about

Easy corkhead. I've only reviewed wine's I've had since joining this site, not wine's I've had previously....
