My drinking buddy yonatage wrote me with his opinion: "My best educated guess is that Wine Library will be spinning off an IPO. Folks with accounts at Cork'd will be able to get in on it. Just a guess."

Thanks for adding me too. What do you think Gary's announcement will be next Wednesday?

Raffi, They don't have them at WineLibrary? We'll have to give the heads up to G.V.! Kathleen Albany, NY

Yes, I picked them up on the way back from Toronto a few weeks back. I haven't seen them down in Jersey. I visit the Albany area every 3 weeks or so. If you find any around there, let me know!

I noticed you rated a few Cave wines from Canada. Did you pick them up on a trip up north or get them from a local wine shop? Kathleen Albany, NY

Thanks for adding me as a drinking buddy! You should give the Altos de Luzon Jumilla a try. I really enjoyed that one and many of my friends have enjoyed it as well.

My family went out to dinner for my mother's birthday. She still only drinks Chardonnay (i'll work on that) but the rest of us opened a bottle of Zinfandel. I was going to do a review of it, but one of my kids threw the cork at another table and I don't remember the name. it was a 2002 from Sonoma...seriously over oaked. which is too bad because the underling taste was good. But the monster was in the house.

Went to a wedding in Boston this weekend...The wine was, less than remarkable. At least we had more choices than "red or white". The Beringer Pinot Grigio wasn't bad maybe a little too much heat.
