2006 yellow tail shiraz

Heavy Oak aftertaste. Not terribly pleasing. I found it far too overpowering for my tastes, at least alone without food to compliment. Perhaps with some food my opinion would be different. But I would not recommend drinking this without a meal.

Pretty standard Chardonnay. Buttery smell, oak, buttery flavor. Decent Chardonnay.

2006 Chateau Ste Michelle

Wonderful wine. Sweet enough to drink it on its own, but just dry enough so it didn't feel like you were drinking juice. Peach flavor on the nose, and in the taste but not overpowering. It was really clean. I would drink this again in an instant.

Fizzy/Sparkling. Sweet. It's a really easy wine to drink, but only with dessert. It really wouldn't go well with any sort of main course meal.

Smooth, Honey-esque. Very flowery smell and with hints of fruit cocktail.

2006 Banrock Station Merlot

Decent Merlot. Nothing terribly special. Slight plum flavors, with a bit of blackberry. Oaked flavor, but not terribly so. Not much to it. Very little aftertaste. Not full.
