I get all my best ideas after my second or third glass. Wine will make you tell the truth, but the morning after will make you face the truth. I take some of these ideas to my blog, and others to my dreams. As a profession, I am an IA/IxD/UxD. That means I help companies design software experiences that conform to the expectations and mental models of the intended audience. I'm a super curious person who loves to share what he learns with others. I love trying to see things differently and to open up the possibilities when the time is right. I also love designing, solving problems, creating objects and experiences that transform people's views making what is essential apparent. I also love driving fast and people who can correctly use the word predicate as a verb.

Haha I didn't know you were a wine guy. I've been tasting as much as I can lately, at esquin and around town. Need more wine buddies.
better?
2006 Loriñon Reserva
(2009-09-16 04:44:31 UTC)Bright cherry, almost like wild cherry, very tannic, big oak, little vanilla. Something toasty or grain, reminds me almost of quinoa, only in the middle.
2007 Spice Route
(2009-09-06 04:48:28 UTC)This pinotage is nice and mature. It has a strong nose of woodsmoke, cedar or pine and some deep fruit, plum, currant.
Little sweetness, more tart, and moderate but present tannins. Obviously there's a spiciness. Reminds me of Christmas, maybe cinnamon, or anise, nutmeg. Yes, nutmeg seems better. The finish is a little tannic, but not too much, just enough warm spicy to have you reaching for that next sip.
2004 Bodegas Lan Rioja Reserva
(2009-07-25 17:26:46 UTC)A tad tannic, not very fruit, deeper, warmer flavor. Moderate.
2007 Graziela
(2009-07-24 02:21:29 UTC)A little spicy, very lightly tannic, complex sweet berries, absent the typical tempranillo oakiness. It's fun and delicious, like a sexy kiss. By which I mean a little dirty, aggressive, flirty and direct, sharp come on.
2004 Chateau Saint-Paul Haut Médoc
(2008-12-07 20:27:52 UTC)From label: "Intense ruby robe. Delicate, mellow nose of red fruit marmalade and anise. Fresh and crisp attack. Full-bodied, round middle palate revealing good tannic structure, and a nice, fruity, fat finish."
I agree. I notice the anise, the crisp attack and a nice full warm balance.
2007 Crios Malbec
(2008-11-27 04:03:55 UTC)Very Dry, tannic, deep rich fruits, an intense burst of fruit right up front. light pepper and butter.
2007 Terras de Xisto
(2008-11-23 06:10:44 UTC)Strong buttery element in the mouth. Mouth feel is soft, light. Bright fruit, currant almost pear. Some hints of oak, but very very buttery. Delicious in a unique way. Stands a good chance of becoming a favorite between friends. Mild tannins.
I don't know about you but it's one of my favorites from last year. I've had 4 bottles or so in total. LOVE IT!
