Good solid weeknight wine. Dark and fruity without being too cobbler-like. Enjoyable arch of spice from the middle to the end. Modest finish with faint rusty copper component.

Heard alot of great reviews of this. The shop owner raved...saying he emptied 15 bottles during a recent tasting. Well, now I know that all those positive reviews are because this stuff is really sweet. Very effervescent and light bodied but an agave nectar sweetness. That aside, there was a nice seashell minerality and bright bosch pear and starfruit notes.

I'm not as experienced with Zins, but this one is an easy drinker with lots of ripe fruit up front; blackberries and over-ripened cherry. Deep purple-red. A little heat at first. Sweeter than I'd typically drink. Reminds me of grenache for some reason.

Not sure what to say...ran out of wine in the house except for this one. Opened it...could have poured it over a good vanilla ice cream or cobbler, but drank some instead. Whah...sweet. I like blueberries, but wow.
