Light to medium-bodied, red fruit and some subtle vegetable components. Slightly floral on the nose, but not much else there for me. (to be fair I'm a little congested). Worth trying at this price.

spicy berries, black pepper, sour cherry, a little tobacco on the nose. Paired nicely with turkey, but but nothing to write home about. Did enjoy the spice.

Smells like werther's originals candies, berries, butterscotch, hint of chocolate/cocoa. Nice and full on the palate, good clean finish.

I really enjoyed this with farmhouse stilton. My bottle was bottled in 2007.

Some cherry, spice and strawberry. Caught a little dark chocolate on the short finish. Good mouthfeel and coated the palate well. Was good with ribeye, blue cheese, fig jam and raisin bread.

If straight from the bottle within the first hour, it is a little heavy on the alchohol on the nose, with a smell reminiscent of nail polish remover -- Not regular nail polish remover, but the scented kind.

If decanted for an hour or two, it opens and mellows a bit, negating some of the the nail polish remover and leaving mostly berries. Black raspberry maybe? The bottle mentions a "hint of mocha" but my palate isn't picking that up.

Coats the whole palate well, rich and full-bodied, but a little short on the finish. Longer, pleasant finish if decanted. Berries carry through.

Good with sharp cheddar cheese, and seems like it would be good with a nice cheesecake as well.

-- Adding some info after this has breathed even more. This is really tasty, or I'm getting drunk. Either way, I really like it. The berries are coming through much more the more I let this sit. I would definitely add this to my favorites.
