NV Mont Marcal Brut Rose Cava

Classic rose still wine flavors with lots of medium sized bubbles. Very dry and freshing. Good acidity. 12% alcohol. Good deal on a dry rose sparkler made in the traditional method.

Almost a four. Had with burgers. Fruity but had some interesting notes, and tannins. Need to try again. Even though it was pretty much a big bold new world wine, maybe there is some good acid in there also, because it even stood up to an apple cider vinaigrette. 14.7 alcohol, but I never would of guessed it.

Dry fizzy red. Simple fruity, and easy to drink. Slightly chilled on a hot day. Dry Lambruscos are fast becoming a favorite of mine. 11% alcohol.

Good medium bodied red. Didn't need anything. Certainly old world, but completely drinkable. First bottle was crokd, server caught it. Second bottle was very nice, and just what we wanted. Perfect first wine.

All I remeber is that I liked it. We had mild cheeses, and a bottle of a lighter red before hand.
