2005 Clos du Bois Reserve Pinot Noir
(2007-09-24 19:22:20 UTC)Gorgeous garnet color. Fennel and herb and mossy spice on the nose (reminds me of walking through a field near the beach in the fog . . . definitely get the Sonoma Coast "terroir"). Plum and berry on the palate, with a lingering cherry finish. Well structured.
2004 Clos du Bois Reserve Tempranillo
(2007-09-21 21:39:22 UTC)Blueberries, lingonberries and marmalade on the nose. Surprisingly balanced with more acid and tannin than expected. Full, leathery, with black cherry and tarragon on the palate and a lingering fruit finish.
