2005 Clos du Bois Reserve Pinot Noir

Gorgeous garnet color. Fennel and herb and mossy spice on the nose (reminds me of walking through a field near the beach in the fog . . . definitely get the Sonoma Coast "terroir"). Plum and berry on the palate, with a lingering cherry finish. Well structured.

Blueberries, lingonberries and marmalade on the nose. Surprisingly balanced with more acid and tannin than expected. Full, leathery, with black cherry and tarragon on the palate and a lingering fruit finish.
