vinsant

Owner of a small basement wine cellar. Full of mostly reds from Washington, with sporatic bottles from Rhone, Cali, Oregon, Aust, Germany, and Portugal. Dig chatting and learning about the juice when not running after two kids and a wife. Always looking for good recipes to go along with great wines! Not too much into points, but I'll try my best.

I would love to try the Close des Papes....but it doesn't come into my state...maybe while I am out in Cali. Time will tell.

Hi! Washington huh? I am going to be driving up there to Olympia next weekend. Do you have 1 or 2 wineries close to I-5 that you would recommend? Could be Oregon or Wash. I am rather fond of Pinot Noir, champagne and Petite Syrah's. Toodles and thankS!

thanks for the add. enjoyed your review of the Eyrie Vineyards Pinot which i've had a couple of times (a nice hit once and a slight miss the second time), also the Kenwood Artist Series, and especially the Arbor Crest Merlot. i've not had either. sounds good. keep 'em coming! cheers!

I don't know. Maybe a few years, though it's probably ready to go. I think the 05 could use some more time in the cellar, though it opened up nicely after some time in the decanter. cheers.

Hey, Thanks for adding me as a drinking buddy. I've been a bit out of it lately -- moving and such -- but will be posting some more over the next week or so. Cheers!
