After spending several years living in Latin America I really enjoy Argentinean and Chilean reds. We have a number of bottles in the cellar that I will write up and review as time permits!

Wonderfully smooth. Ready to drink now. Bought 6 more bottles for the cellar.

2003 Kaiken Ultra Cabernet Sauvignon

Very full body. Has a sort of sweet overtone (which is not to say that it's sweet!). I paired it with pork tenderloin on the barbeque and it may not have done it justice. An acidic finish.

2004 Doña Paula Malbec

This is a good value wine. In Canada it retails for just over $20 but it compares favourably with wines in the $30-$40 range. It has a sticker on the bottle that claims it is the "Value Brand" of the year. I have also tried the Cabernet Sauvignon and their Malbec reserve. So far I have not been dispointed by Doña Paula.
