I'm currently working in Washington DC at an international non-profit organization, but I also have a part-time gig at a French bistro here as their sommelier. I've picked grapes in Burgundy during the 1999 harvest, worked in the Santa Barbara wine country (that's right, Sideways land! ... in fact, my boss at Sanford Vineyards at the time was in the early tasting scene in the movie), and am a regular WinelibraryTV watcher. I took my first trip to Rhone last November and fell further in love with Rhone wines. I wish I had a wine cellar, but I'll have to wait until I make a little more money and have a place of my own :) In the meantime I'll just have to drink what I buy before too long ...
