Jacob's Creek Reserve Shiraz

(over 2 years ago)The Wine Spectator 91 rating inspired me to sample this value wine ~$10. I have to say that I was quite impressed, especially for the price. Mid-pallate tannins balance nicely with black cherry notes. A spicy full-bodied Shiraz, which may benefit from decanting, or even a couple of years in the cellar. ----------------------- Had another bottle of this last night, and it was even better than the first time. Definitely worth the price.

(about 1 year ago)For $10 I don't think you can go wrong. Tastes as good as some $18-$20 wines I really enjoy. Wonderful spice. Low on a acidity unlike other inexpensive wines.
