Dr L 2005 Riesling
(over 2 years ago)Very light Riesling. Nectarine and stone fruit flavors, no mineral and semi sweet with low acidity. Finish is quick. There is some residual sweetness left on the tongue.

(about 1 year ago)This riesling is a really nice everyday German wine. We were surprised by the fruitiness, with hints of pear, lime, and lemon, and a really nice, zippy, sweet finish. For the price, you cannot go wrong; plus, it's really easy to find since it's one of the more popular affordable rieslings.

(about 1 year ago)Very fruity with nice acidity, but somewhat of a short finish. Very refreshing and enjoyable nonetheless.

(about 1 year ago)Great fruity wine. Not as good as the 2004 but still a delight, especially for the price.
Dr L 2005 Riesling
(about 1 year ago)Very light body (8% alc). Nice yeasty-bakery nose, surrounded by peach. Good finish. Very good entry level german riesling
Dr L 2005 Riesling
(about 1 year ago)Peach and lemonzest and a yeasty dough ball on the nose. Good mouthfeel and a nice finish this wine is sweet but transitions nicely into a long slatey finish. A lime zinger in the start a little pineapple juice reduction in the mid palate. Good wine had with a spicy pizza and it was perfect.

(about 1 year ago)I liked this wine, with my little experience it was difficult for me to determine the flavors, I did detect pear, and I noticed alot of people said the same, I also thought there was apple in this. Maybe it was just me. We enjoyed the taste, it was recommended by the sales person, we were just looking for something for dinner. It was fairly sweet, and crisp. A nice clean taste, not much of a bad after taste. Only wished I had it colder than it was.
