The 2004 Sofia Blanc de Blancs exudes a delicate perfume of ripe apricots, tangerine, and pear. Bright flavors of summer melon and zesty lemon unfold on the palate with honeysuckle emerging on the crisp, vibrant finish.

An interesting choice, this one. Very, very fruity and floral. Apples, apricots, and sweet (though not overwhelmingly so) on the tongue. I would have wished for a bit more sparkling in the sparkle... It was much more like a cider than a sparkling wine or champagne. All the same, it was quite interesting and different. And the designer in me has to note, the label on the bottle is quite lovely. :)
