(over 2 years ago)This is one of those great wines that prove you don't have to spend a boatload to get a great tasting wine. Great with just about any meal.

(over 2 years ago)This is a good blend. Pretty inexpensive as well. Has a lot of fruit. Very robust wine that is full of flavor. A blend of 57% cabernet, 32% shiraz and 11% merlot. Update: Had 2nd bottle, even better. Upp'd it from a 3 to a 4 in ranking.

(over 2 years ago)Inky purple with pronounced dark cherry and violet aromas. Also a hint of spice. The nose fulfills its promise by delivering a plump, concentrated wine with soft tannins and some brisk acidity. Finish becomes ever so slightly bitter in the back of the palate before it disappears completely, taking the taste of the wine with it. A crowd-pleasing New World wine. What it lacks in personality it makes up for in price.

(over 2 years ago)My local grocer has been pushing this wine with a display at the checkout station. The attractive bottle (and price) had me curious. I enjoyed a full, round plum nose and dark, spicy palate. It finishes smoky and a tad hot. Whew! A little heavy for my taste, but good.

(over 2 years ago)Deep purple color with a rich, fruity odor. It's a robust blend of sweet and sour - noticable cherry and plum flavors with a lot of spice, especially in the finish. A bit too much going on in the glass for me, but definitely one to keep around the house.

(over 2 years ago)Huge in your face sour cherry flavor rush, you're gonna love it or just be overwhelmed by it.

(about 1 year ago)Nose had a damp clothes underpinning at times, strong up front black cherry and a little raspberry, followed by vanilla and then late arriving cinnamon (it's late but very pronounced... you'll get it). Lots of alcohol but not unpleasant or overpowering in the nose. Flavor profile was less interesting to me. It's soft and the tannins are medium-sized creating a nice mouthfeel overall. Definitely very fruity and possibly some cola and coffee going on. Pleasant finish. Plenty of sweetness and possibly residual sugar.

(about 1 year ago)Really delicious wine to have both on its own or with a meal. Raspberry overtones, which is one of my favorite flavors. I also tasted chocolate the first time I tried it, but now that I am trying it again, mainly the berry is prominent.

(about 1 year ago)The cherry flavors hit you like a truck. Thick mouthfeel and it sticks around for a while. Kicks so much ass! (can I say ass on cork'd?)
