This wine reminds me of home, Montara, the pungency of sagebrush on a fogladen evening after a hot day. Dense fruit, pepper, sage, all the appropriate connotations of a coastal californian valley.

Wonderful Zinfandel, which only gets better with age. Blackberry, dark cherry, licorice and a peppery draw. Great finish. Perfect with burgers or the backyard summer steak.
