Fantastically rich and earthy nose. Northern Rhone style wet band-aid and horse blanket that grows and grows. The mouth is just as full and rich. Blueberry and mushrooms are balaced by herbs de provence and a slight acidity. The tannins have started to integrate well but I think they will last another 5-8 years.

Probably one of the best wines I have ever tasted! Northern Rhone in style, A Syrah lover's Syrah. Pungent mushroom earthiness with a hint of barnyard, and wet band-aid give you an olfactory experience you can't forget! delicious pepper notes and nice eastern spices. Nice firm tannins that aren't offensive.....This is a mouthful of wine!
