This wine was a very very good wine. I felt it was a bit pricey, but very satisfying nonetheless.

The color was a very vibrant yellow.

The nose was the best part of this wine. It was VERY tropical. Tons of guava, papaya, and some mineral came through as well as some rose petal.

The first taste was if you want to taste a wine that has passion fruit and guava notes, this is the one. Picked up some spice, lychee, and apples as well.

The midpalate was guava and butter.

The finish was very long lasting with some pithiness of grapefruit and passion fruit.

OVERALL this wine was fantastic, but for the price point I would pass again. Glad I tried it once though to get those very strong tropical flavors on my palate. The wine was very well balanced and complex.

Rich golden color and viscous appearance. Great Gewuztraminer nose of litchee and tropical fruit. Not as much alcohol on the nose or the as you would expect for this (15%) level. Intense litchee flavors with grapefruit notes. Those who like their wine smooth on the palate will like this one. Not the mineral and acidic notes of an outstanding Gewurz but tasty. I like a little more zip and structure. However, this has such intensity and purity of fruit that it comes close. Long grapefruit finish.
