smoky, slightly spicy and with a hint f bacon. I know it sounds strange but you can really smell bacon very distinctly. I had never tried a Pinotage before and it was suprisingly good for the price. Would go well with a nice steak.

I really liked this one, it may not be a normal drink for most people but for someone who likes wines that taste "different" this wine is great. The nose hints at blue cheese with with some bright ripe raspberries and a hint of bacon that the pinotage seems to becoming known for. For the price I think this is a great value and should go well with any heavy dark meats.
