Chateau Montrose Tasting at IOD in London (2006 2005, 2003, 2001, 2000, 1996, 1995, 1990, 1989, 1986, 1982, 1970, 1929, 1924, 1921): Wow, this is beautiful, and what a nose! Coconut (say what?), and some more coconut in the nose... candied orange and lemon peel, some banana. Extremely powerful in the palate, nice concentration and a 30+ seconds finish. What a wine!
You don't doubt the longevity of Montrose after such a tasting!
