Smoking Loon 2004 Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)I'm a fan of the Smoking Loon Syrah (as well as their label designs), but this Pinot Noir was just "meh". A little too burny, without much depth. Too dry perhaps. The price is nice, but I think I'll stick to the Syrah with this vineyard.

(over 2 years ago)Bad, even for the price. No interesting flavors to note. All I remember was that it was terrible
Smoking Loon 2004 Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)A nice label, a nice price, a nice name, a forgettable wine. It's not that the Smoking Loon actually tastes terrible so much that it simply does nothing to distinguish itself: there's none of the subtlety one expects from a Pinot. Look elsewhere.

(over 2 years ago)A terrible tasting Noir, the color looked more like grape Kool aide. Don't waste your money.

(over 2 years ago)Within 5 minutes of opening, this wine got ridiculously spicy. It lessened after a while, but still was too spicy to enjoy.

(over 2 years ago)One step beyond jug wine. I can't believe they even let this out of their winery. I've had boxed wine that was more enjoyable than this. It tasted like fake grape juice mixed with moonshine.

(7 months ago)There's bad, then there's this. Substitute for Syrup of Ipecac and you'll be on the right track.
