Excellent value - worth every penny. Medium bodied cab, very drinkable, but not quite as smooth as something a little more expensive. I'd definitely buy this one again.

It's been a while since I've had a cab, and I don't think it's just distance that caused my distaste for the Avalon. It was unpleasantly smoky, and slightly dusty tasting. The label was what drew us to this one in the cheap aisles of Trader Joe's, but it's simple cuteness meant nothing to for the flavor.

A napa cabernet worth drinking for less than $20 bucks? no way! This is a terrific wine with terrific structure and smoke. Lots of Ripe red fruit tasting of plums and cherries. Nice body, good finish and feels good in the mouth. Its got some oak but not creamed up. Good stuff!

Nice medium bodied cab. Didn't take long at all to mellow way out. Smoky oak and licorice, but fruity cherry as well. And fits nicely into my < $12 "I need some wine and it's Wednesday night" sort of deal.
