(over 2 years ago)I traded martian a bottle of storybook eastern exposures for this (mazel tov!). I took a few sips, and poured the rest out. I'm only giving it two stars so that martian doesn't feel bad. Why chase pinot with your hamiltons? It doesn't make sense to me.

(about 1 year ago)There's a little health food market about a 1/2-mile from my house that sells this wonderful wine, and when I'm in the mood to treat myself, I always swing by to pick up a bottle. Smooth, sweet (but not too), it slips down so gently that I almost forget there's alcohol in it. Perfect to sip on its own, or paired with a light pasta or cheeses.

(about 1 year ago)light, bright, drinkable but not worth a case buy. Not as grounded as the Cartlidge & Brown which I like better at the same price.

(about 1 year ago)This is a "I don't know wine but I know what I like" sort of review ... yes, I tried Pinot with my eyes open for the first time only after seeing "Sideways," and this label is readily available in my neck of the woods. But it is tasty and smooth to my perhaps-not-entirely-cultivated palate, and I can polish off a bottle without any regrets or ill side affects.

(about 1 year ago)Purple red color, nice legs, Fresh Pinot Noir nose,Light body with lively Pinot Noir flavor with subtle spice and meaty, earthy notes, especially in finish; mild, sweet tannins. Doesn't shoot the moon and falls down as a sipping wine, but good with food and a nice, light everyday pinot which would go well with poultry or fish.
