Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)For $4.99, this bottle is supremely drinkable. It's definitely fruit first in the Aussie tradition, with strong berry and melon flavors and an undercurrent of spiciness from the grapes. It has a rich full-bodied mouth feel, isn't too sweet, and has a smooth finish. It's pretty good off the shelf, but with a year of cellaring it's very good. Great with steaks and lasagna.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Great bottle of wine for the price. It definitely beats any other shiraz in its price range.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Have tried several of the Yellow Tail wines. Have been happy with all of them. Excellent for the price.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)A great wine for the price. Probably the best low-budget shiraz I have tasted on the market. Even at $10-$12 in Bermuda, it's still a bargain.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)beats the hell out of charles shaw. very tasty. $6 at most stores in portland, oregon; i think it's $5 at trader joes.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz

Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz

Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Great shiraz/syrah...especially at $7/bottle (Fort Worth, TX.) We enjoyed our last bottle with spaghetti with meat sauce and salad greens.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Inexpensive but full-bodied, this is one of my favorite wines to pick up in a hurry. It's light on the wallet and always tasty.
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Best ~$5 bottle of wine I've had. Fruity and drinkable; go Aussies!
Yellow Tail 2004 Shiraz
(about 1 year ago)I used to like this wine but i'm done with it. Actually to be honest, i really liked it for the price point originally. But a few bottles later it is just SO over the top .... HUGE fruit, almost sweet, and just feels phony -- let the grapes talk! Kind like the Justin Timberlake of the wine world ... AKA OVERPRODUCED. But again, 5 bucks hell ....
