Aromas: Dried dark fruit, prune, blackberry, smoked oak barrel. Flavours: blackberries, prunes, dark fruit, coffee, clove Notes: Very enjoyable Malbec. True to the grape. With low acidity and soft tannins. Deep color and dark fruit flavors. Not very intense (which is why typically this is used in blends to soften the bigger grapes such as a Cab Sav) it is a very easy going wine. Nose was soft and inviting with dark fruits, prunes, and blackberries. Strong smoked oaky permeates. Taste followed suit with blackberries, prunes and finishes on a note of coffee and cloves. Very low tannin and acidity make this an easy to like wine. However manages a smooth mouth feel of a much high tannin wine and well balanced, simple wine. Finish was pleasantly long with hints of clove.

Coffee over black cherries. Finished very hollow. Not bad but there are much better out there. Left me wanting more from this wine. Had with food and without and enjoyed it more with Italian dish.
