2003 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon

There's a lot to be excited about with Napa Valley's newest boutique winery. The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon from Jean Hoefliger is beautifully balanced and very drinkable now. It has a subtle nose of chocolate and blackberry. The wine is dry, with very mild tannins but a lingering and noble finish. It's a cabernet that can accompany milder meats like pork roast, but also hold its own with a nice prime rib.
